Hydrostatic liquid level sensor PS-B-01-420
Submersible water pressure sensor. The pressure exerted by water on the sensor is transmitted as a voltage signal (4 ~ 20 mA). The hydrostatic pressure is directly proportional to the submersion. The sensor is designed for use in fuels (diesel, gasoline) as well as in water and high-temperature liquids (up to 400°C). The sensor's capillary is made of SS 316L stainless steel. The signal of the measured liquid pressure is transmitted through a tube to the sensor, which is located in an external, airtight housing. This avoids contact with the measured liquid, which allows use in high-temperature liquids as well as fuels.

Application
Dedicated meters for the sensors are the MG14 meter/regulator with four alarm relays and a large display, and the SD8V panel meter/regulator with two alarm outputs from Termipol. By combining the measurement result display devices and the sensor, it is possible to continuously control the level with a single sensor. The sensor can be used in tanks for fuel, oil or high temperature liquids.
Example of application with pressure sensor and MG14 meter.
Step 1
Set the input signal type Sn = 22 (4-20mA) → see instructions para. 3.
Step 2
Set the minimum display value for the minimum value of the PUL input signal (we will set the display value for 0 mA, e.g. 0).
Set the maximum display value for the maximum value of the PUH input signal (we will set the display value for 20 mA e.g. 200).

Example of application with pressure sensor and SD8V meter.
Step 1
Set the input signal type 1nP = 4_20 (4-20 mA) → see instructions para. 1.
Step 2
Set the minimum display value for the minimum value of the input signal FL = 0 (we will set the display value for 0 mA, e.g. 0).
Set the maximum display value for the maximum input signal value FH = 3000 (we will set the display value for 20 mA e.g. 3000).
