MG14 panel meter
The regulator performs the function of a panel indicator, which allows precise control of measured parameters in industrial processes thanks to having two LED displays. The purpose of the device is to work with sensors having voltage, current or resistance outputs including temperature sensors (full description of input signal types in the table below). Thanks to the MG14 meter it is possible to quickly convert the signal into values needed in production, for example, units of length (mm, cm), pressure or speed. The device has functions to tune to the input signal range. Built-in four relay alarm outputs ALL (b. low), AL (low), AH (high), AHH (b. high). Built-in large easy-to-read 4-character digital display and 0~100 graphic display, helpful for quick evaluation of industrial process.

Scaling of the input signal
With the scaling function, it is possible to convert the input signal to the quantities corresponding to the user. When using a float, resistance sensor from the HT-R series, the output resistance varies from 0 -190 Ω. The meter allows conversion of the value read from the sensor to any declared values, for example, tank fill level (0-100%) or float position level (0-500mm). The device allows you to convert the reading values into user-convenient measures.
Example of application with a resistive sensor.
Step 1
Set the input signal type Sn = 17 (0~400Ω) → see instructions para. 3.
Step 2
Change the maximum value of the input signal 1nPH = 190 |
![]() |
Change the minimum value of the input signal 1nPL = 0 |
![]() |
Step 3
Setting the minimum display value for the minimum value of the input signal PUL (we will set the display value for 0 Ω, e.g. 0).
Set the maximum display value for the maximum value of the PUH input signal (we will set the display value for 190 Ω e.g. 500).

The set allows you to display the current status and maintain the level within the set range. Compared to traditional reed float sensors, in this case you only need one sensor and controller, which reduces the cost of the project. In addition, the available alarm outputs, and the function of converting units to millimeters, liters, etc. gives you the opportunity to customize the set to your needs. The controller with the HT-R sensor can be used for IBC tanks also known as: pallet-tank, tank-pallet, pallet-container, pallet-tank, or Mauser, Schutz and Mamor.
When combined with the HT-R-1000 sensor, it can serve as a set for automatic liquid level control.

Fig. MG14 meter used with HT-R-1000 sensor in IBC tank.
Example of application with pressure sensor.
Step 1
Set the input signal type Sn = 12 (0~10 V) → see instructions para. 3.
Step 2
Set the minimum display value for the minimum value of the PUL input signal (we will set the display value for 0 V e.g. 0).
Set the maximum display value for the maximum value of the PUH input signal (we will set the display value for 10 V e.g. 500).

By combining the display devices of the measurement result and the sensor, it is possible to continuously control the level with a single sensor. The sensor can be used in water, for example, in a well.
