Proximity sensors

Proximity sensors allow non-contact detection of the presence of objects, liquid levels and obstacles in all kinds of industrial and domestic applications. Proximity sensors detect the presence of objects or indicate their absence using an electromagnetic field, light or sound. There are many types that are dedicated to specific often very specific industrial or domestic applications.

  • Inductive sensors

    Inductive sensors

They detect ferromagnetic elements made of steel, for example, on the principle of changing the induction in the sensor when the element is brought close to the sensor. The most commonly used type of sensor, it detects metallic elements.

  • Capacitive sensors

    Capacitive sensors

They are used in the detection of objects as well as bulk materials and liquids.Termipol sensors of this type respond to changes in the electrical capacitance of the space surrounding the sensor. Durable housing and high protection class IP67.Examples of applications include measuring the amount of plastic in the tank, measuring the amount of granules, animal feed, liquid level and detection of objects made of non ferromagnetic materials.
