Elastic couplings for drive transmissions in industrial automation even out the non-linear assembly of encoders, measuring wheels, stepper motors, rotary transducers, etc. The use of a coupling reduces stress, vibrations, angular transfer error, and protects bearings and other moving parts. The coupling, depending on the type of element transferring the torque and the material used, is more or less torsionally rigid.
An elastic coupling reduces the lack of axis in assembly or deviation and uneven work of the object shaft. Their use increases the durability of encoder bearings.
The economical E69 coupling allows for the connection of executive and measuring elements, e.g. encoder and measuring wheels.
FLEX-P type elastic nylon-aluminum clutch for encoders, allowing for the elimination of errors in the setting of the axes of the actuators, e.g. encoders and measuring wheels. Made of two formed, elastic nylon loops, permanently connected to aluminum rings. Characteristic features include quiet operation and low wear.
ST16 spring clutch made of aluminum and stainless steel is used in connections with low forces (up to 1 Nm). It also allows for damping of vibrations and elimination of errors in the linearity of the axis.
