Liquid Level Sensor HT-ZPC3

They are used wherever liquid level control and regulation is necessary (e.g. water, oil, etc.). The sensor has a float equipped with a magnet, which moves vertically along the guide tube under the influence of the buoyancy force of the liquid, causing the contactor to close or open. They are usually mounted in the bottom or cover of the tank, so they can be used to control the lower or upper level of the liquid. By changing the position of the float, the function of the contactor changes from closed to open.

Note

The design of the sensor does not allow for connection of the 230V mains voltage, so it is recommended to use the AFR1 relay with an integrated safe 8VAC voltage source for powering the sensors.

Principle of operation

Sensors have a magnet mounted on the float, which, when rising, causes the contact switch contacts located in the tube body to close or open. Sensors can work as NC - normally closed or NO - normally open. We obtain a change of mode by turning the float by 180°.

Example of application

Maintaining the level of liquid in the tank at any levels, high and low, using the AFR1 relay available on our other auction. The AFR1 relay allows both the activation of the actuator (e.g. pump, solenoid valve) and the supply of two sensors with a low control voltage.
