They are used wherever liquid level control and regulation is necessary (e.g. water, oil, etc.). The sensor has a float equipped with a magnet, which rises under the influence of the buoyancy force of the liquid, causing the reed switch located in the tube to close or open. They are usually mounted in the wall of the tank, so they can be used to control the lower or upper level of the liquid. Made of stainless steel with the possibility of use in a wide range of temperatures.
The design of the sensor does not allow for connection of the 230V mains voltage, so for powering the sensors it is recommended to use the AFR1 relay with an integrated safe 8VAC voltage source.
Sensors have a magnet mounted on the float, which, when rising, causes the contactor switch located in the tube body to close or open. The sensors can work as NC - normally closed or NO - normally open. The change of mode is obtained by turning the float by 180°.
