These are used wherever a control and regulation of the liquid level (e.g. water, oil, etc.) is necessary. The sensor has a float equipped with a magnet that moves vertically along the guide tube under the influence of the buoyancy of the liquid, causing the contactor to close or open. They are usually mounted in the bottom or cover of the tank, so they can be used to control the lower or upper level of the liquid. By changing the position of the float, the function of the contactor changes from closed to open.
The design of the sensor does not allow for connection of the 230V mains voltage, so it is recommended to use the AFR1 relay with an integrated safe 8VAC voltage source for powering the sensors.
The sensors have a magnet mounted in the float, which, when rising, causes the contact of the contactor switch located in the tube body to close or open. The sensors can work as NC - normally closed or NO - normally open. The change of mode is obtained by turning the float by 180°.

Maintaining the level of liquid in the tank at any levels, high and low, using the AFR1 relay available on our other auction. The AFR1 relay allows both the activation of the actuator (e.g. pump, solenoid valve) and the supply of low voltage control to two sensors.
