Storing Medicines and Vaccines in Pharmacies

Taking into account the current needs of pharmacies, we have created a measuring set that helps to monitor the temperature and humidity in selected rooms in the pharmacy or in refrigerators with medicines.

In accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Health of October 27, 2022 on the basic conditions for running a pharmacy, pharmacies are obliged to have equipment for 24-hour monitoring of temperature and humidity in drug and supplement warehouses, in reception chambers and in refrigerators for storing medicines and vaccines.

2. The pharmacy shall provide:

1) in rooms where prescription and non-prescription medicines and homeopathic medicinal products are prepared and in rooms used for storing medicinal products, foodstuffs for particular nutritional uses, pharmaceutical raw materials and medical devices, equipment for 24-hour monitoring of temperature and humidity,

2) In refrigeration devices used for storing medicinal products, special dietary foodstuffs, pharmaceutical raw materials and medical devices, temperature monitoring equipment - with a calibration certificate issued by an accredited calibration laboratory and a system enabling the appropriate recording of temperature or humidity and notification of temperature or humidity exceedances.|

The set is used to monitor the temperature in the refrigerator and the temperature and humidity in the room where sensitive products are stored (e.g. vaccines, medicines).

iPomiar.pl is based on sending measurement information at a specified time to the server, to which you have a permanent and direct access from the application or iPomiar.pl portal. In each device, it is possible to set alarm thresholds - exceeding a given temperature. The data is collected on your individual account, from which you can generate reports for a given period of time. The report includes the number of exceedances and their value.

REPORTS

It is possible to generate reports that easily and clearly illustrate the collected data in a user-defined time frame. At any time, the report can be exported as a PDF or CSV. The iPomiar.pl system allows you to configure automatic reports that will be sent with the selected frequency (e.g. daily, weekly or monthly) to any email recipient. Reports include measurements made by recorders. In addition, they include information about events such as alarm threshold violations.

CALIBRATION 

According to the applicable regulations, temperature and humidity loggers monitoring medicinal/pharmaceutical products in pharmacies should be calibrated. In this set, you will receive a certificate with the result confirming the correct operation of the RT1 mini temperature logger at 5°C (the point being the midpoint of the temperature range in which vaccines should be stored) and a calibration certificate for the RTH1 mini temperature and humidity logger at 20°C and 40% humidity.

The tests are performed in an external measurement laboratory accredited by the Polish Accreditation Centre (in accordance with the requirements of the Minister of Health's Regulation on the Basic Conditions for Running a Pharmacy).
