When you don't have access to a general sewer system, you need to drain the waste from your home into a septic tank or a domestic wastewater treatment plant. The need for control arises from preventing the overflow of waste and its ejection through the lowest sanitary device in your home. Unfortunately, controlling the level of waste is not an easy task. You have to regularly lift the tank cover to look inside the tank.

Thanks to the RU1 Solid ultrasonic level sensor, you can easily monitor their level. The sensor just needs to be mounted on the tank cover, and there is no need to disassemble it when emptying the tank. The sensor sends a signal which is then reflected from the surface of the measured material, then the data is sent to the recorder. You have a constant and direct view of the measured parameters in the dedicated application or on the iPomiar.pl website. Measurements are taken at a specified time, sampling can be set every 30 s, 1 min, 15 min, 30 min, 1 h, 12 h and 24 h. It is possible to set alarm thresholds (e.g. exceeding a certain level of impurities). After exceeding them, the device sends a notification in the application, SMS or e-mail. It is possible to send such a message directly to the appropriate services, which will be able to come and empty the tank quickly.
